Each semester, we host a Professor Open House where we invite any faculty from universities to join us in Panama for 4 free nights. We pay for 2 nights lodging in Panama City, provide private transportation from Panama City to our research institute site 1 hour away, and provide 2 nights at Kalu Yala with all meals and tours included, plus open class rooms and chances to speak with our faculty, study abroad students and research interns. Dates are announced prior to the beginning of the semester, so if you are interested please sign up for us to email you details.
Faculty are welcome to evaluate study abroad partnership opportunities, faculty-led trip potential, research exchange, or just to enjoy the rainforest and meet our team.
Many past faculty also extend their trips to enjoy the beach after having seen our mountain river valley and Panama City.
